I am an international student, one who is fascinated by media studies for the freedom it facilitates in allowing me to analyse instead of relying on pre set out facts to achieve an answer. A continuous thought process that grows as do the platforms being examined, and translates into its versatility in the real world. With the help of professional experiences, I hope to be immersed in an environment suitable for applying said skills and decoding media's everlasting effects. I have lived in nine different countries during which I have attended many different schools in hopes of expanding my experience and adaptability, a key aspect that allows me to be the open minded individual I am today.
I had the immense pleasure of working at Neom’s THE LINE Marketing and Sales department for a month over the summer. The experience exposed me to an industry full of creatives and innovators reimagining the modern understanding of a city landscape. I was fascinated by the ins and outs of developing content for socials, internal branding and constant attention to even the most minimal details, e.g. choosing between synonyms and looking at their underlying implications. My experience also shed light on work dynamics, collaborating from both within the department to even directing agencies. I was also given the opportunity to lead projects which helped guide me to the kind of leadership I aspire to reach in my future. The skills I learnt at THE LINE are indispensable and a stepping stone in my professional career.
